Without giving any spoilers, many of the characters are underused, or are given a big setup with not much payoff. Kids won't care about that component....but Pixar has set the bar high. leopotter22 added their review for Incredibles 2: Personally, I thought this sequel surpassed the original in creativity and humor; it gave a very modern twist in its villain, subplot, and also had some surprisingly dark moments that kept the audience on edge. While the plot is predictable, it is a great quality movie that gladly contests other Pixar movies. Only criticism is the villain is not very memorable.

The highlight of the movie is the addition of Jack jack’s powers, which lead to much hilarity. However, the biggest fault of the movie is the villain. Screenslaver starts off promising, but his motivations are ultimately never explained in full and he feels like a hollow shell in a mask.
