The King of Pop is getting a biopic -- here is what we know so far about it.
The upcoming Michael Jackson movie has me all sorts of excited. Here are some things that I want to see in it. And some things that I don't...
Denzel Washington and Antoine Fuqua are teaming up for an awesome new project, but it's about the same character Vin Diesel's been trying to get off the ground for years.
Denzel Washington, director Antoine Fuqua and some other people from The Equalizer 3 team celebrated the project beginning its shoot.
Training Day director Antoine Fuqua has collaborated with Denzel Washington for years, and this might be the reason why.
The Guilty is another reminder of just how intense Jake Gyllenhaal can get.
We've been keeping tabs on The Guilty for a little bit now. First we reported that that the remake of the 2018 Danish thriller, then we reported that Antoine Fuqua would be directing the project, reuniting with his Southpaw star Jake Gyllenhaal as the lead actor. Now, we know where we'll be watching the fruits of their labor. Per Deadline, The Guilty has been snatched up by Netflix for worldwide distribution rights — and they paid quite the hefty penny for it, too. Jake Gyllenhaal is set to reteam with his Southpaw director Antoine Fuqua for a remake of the 2018 Danish drama The Guilty. Gustav Möller’s film, which played at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, follows a benched cop working at emergency dispatch when he gets a call from a woman who has been kidnapped by her husband. Marshalling the resources he has at his disposal, the cop works to save the woman while bound to the dispatch center. David Leitch, the director of high-octane action sequels Deadpool 2 and Hobbs & Shaw, has signed on to direct the action thriller Bullet Train for Sony Pictures, Collider can confirm. Zak Olkewicz (Fear Street) will write the script, which will be based on the popular Japanese manga. I have to say, Leitch and I must share the same taste, as my friend Pete Freedman and I have been working on a fake Speed sequel titled Sp33d 3: Bullet Train since at least 2017. There has been talk of several bullet trains being built between in-state U.S. cities, …
Nearly a decade after passing on the title role in Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained, Will Smith has signed on to play a runaway slave in Antoine Fuqua's action thriller Emancipation, which is being described as being closer in tone to Apocalypto than 12 Years a Slave. Bill Collage (Exodus: Gods and Kings) wrote the script, which is based on the harrowing true story of Peter, a runaway slave whose "scourged back" went viral, in a sense, all the way back in 1863. Peter was a slave on a Louisiana plantation owned by John and Bridget Lyons and he …
Chris Pratt became a movie star in 2014-2015 thanks to the success of Guardians of the Galaxy, The LEGO Movie, and Jurassic World, but now it looks like he'll return to his TV origins with an adaptation of The Terminal List. Pratt will reteam with his The Magnificent Seven director Antoine Fuqua for the project, which is based on the best-selling novel by Jack Carr. Pratt will star in the series, Fuqua will direct, and David DiGilio will write the script; all three men will serve as executive producers. MRC Television will develop the project. Per the …
I wouldn't blame you if you were down on Mark Wahlberg right now. Three of his last five films are downright bad. But here's the thing... three of his last seven films were in my Top 15 of their respective years. He's very hit-and-miss in my book, and yet, as a well-known Boston homer, I must admit that Mark Wahlberg is kind of The Man. First of all, Mark Wahlberg is not only an Oscar-nominated actor, but he's also an Oscar-nominated producer as well. That's some Leonardo DiCaprio-Brad Pitt …
Chris Evans is trading his shield for a very different kind of weapon: his mind grapes. Per Deadline, the Captain America actor is in talks to lead an adaptation of the D. Eric Maikranz novel The Reincarnationist Papers called Infinite, which revolves around a man who is haunted by memories of two past lives. As it turns out, there exists a centuries-old secret society of other individuals who remember their own past lives, and who use their abilities to affect change throughout history. After discovering the society, the man seeks to join their ranks. Antoine Fuqua, the filmmaker behind …
