For years, Hollywood has been trying to get a new John Belushi biopic off the ground. At one point, the project was set up at Warner Bros. with Todd Phillips producing and directing from a script by Steve Conrad (Wonder). A few years later, the film's producers decided to make Belushi as an indie movie, with Conrad directing himself.
