Howard Ashman is somebody who has undoubtedly shaped you, even if you don’t know his name. He is the lyricist and storyteller who worked on The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin. Without Ashman, it’s questionable whether or not Disney Animation would have had its glorious renaissance through the late 1980s and into the 1990s.
