George Clooney is a talented director, but he also got amazing direction from the Joel Coen on one of their best collaboration.
While filming The Tragedy of Macbeth, Denzel Washington tried learning as much as he could from Joel Coen but got bamboozled once.
William Shakespeare's dark and twisted The Tragedy of Macbeth is getting the Joel Coen treatment.
With writer-director Scott Frank’s The Queen’s Gambit now streaming on Netflix, I recently got to speak with Moses Ingram about making the fantastic limited series. If you haven’t seen the trailers, The Queen’s Gambit is based on the novel by Watler Tevis and follows Beth Harmon (Anya Taylor-Joy), who was abandoned to a Kentucky orphanage in the late 1950s. Just because Joel Coen's Macbeth had to shut down production temporarily doesn't mean it isn't still one of our most highly-anticipated films of...whenever it comes out now. Deadline reports that Joel Coen is set to do a new adaptation of the Scottish play starring Denzel Washington and Frances McDormand. For those who are still somehow unaware of a play that’s over 400 years old, the story follows Lord and Lady Macbeth, who plot to murder the Scottish king and take the throne. There are still some big questions with regards to …
