Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood announced today that they will extend their closures through April 19th, which includes Universal's parks and hotels. The theme parks and entertainment destinations previously announced that they would be closing until March 31st over coronavirus COVID-19 concerns, but given that the number of cases in the U.S. are only going up and “shelter-in-home” notices are continuing to be posted by state governors, that date now seemed unsafe and irresponsible.
