I went into The Aeronauts expecting Tom Harper’s movie to either be stunningly great or a total disaster since it’s basically characters trapped on a hot air balloon and two actors playing against a green screen. But I was wrong, and The Aeronauts is perfectly pleasant if a little forgettable. It’s a story about two people who need to rely on each other to accomplish a mission and overcome their personal baggage.
