Chickenhare and the Hamster of Darkness

20 years ago, adventuring hare brothers Peter and Lapin, are on a quest to find the mystical Hamster of Darkness, a powerful artifact and the rarest in the world. However, during their search, the temple the artifact is housed in is destroyed, apparently along with the artifact itself. But, the duo find something else on their journey, a young baby who is both part chicken and hare. Attached to the little creature, Peter takes it with them to their home, the kingdom of Featherbeard, and takes in the child as his own, while Lapin admonishes it as a freak. As the years pass, the young Chickenhare grows attached to the concept of adventuring, wanting to become an adventurer like his father, who has now become the king of Featherbeard. However, he also becomes sensitive to his appearance and puts on a disguise to avoid ridicule.
