critical_hit added their review for Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb: Decades after its release, Stanley Kubrik's Dr. Strangelove is still painfully relevant. Modern audiences can relate nearly as well to the threat of nuclear war as cold war era audiences could. This movie features dark, dry satire, a wonderfully ironic soundtrack, and- not one- but three incredible performances from Peter Sellers. Sometimes, we need to laugh at our worries- however large- and, as the title says, love the bomb.
