cole added their review for The Hole in the Ground: Maybe my expectations were too high for this film, but it's neither scary nor original. The "he came back from the woods different" tales are getting old. While the production value is high and there are some genuine twists along the way, the final act doesn't go the right direction and leaves some loose ends open for criticism.
