As the patriarch of the Forman family, Reginald Albert “Red” Forman wasn’t just their patriarch, he was for all Eric’s friends, and occasionally some of the parents of Point Place. As a veteran of both World War II and Korea, he has seen plenty of action and bad stuff. He doesn’t talk about them that much, but he does use the notion that he’s eliminated people as for why he should be respected and feared by all of the kids; which is exactly the way he liked it.
Every sitcom, and plenty of TV shows, in general, need that cool guy that we all want to hang out with or date or be like. But they’re just too cool for any of us to even aspire to. They’re also almost always the sidekick to our main hero – Slater to Zack, Dylan to Brandon, Fonzie to Richie. On That '70s Show, it was Hyde to Eric.
The first day at a new school is hard for anyone. Even back in the 1970s. Of course, being from a foreign land only makes it tougher. In fact, Fez ran into a group of bullies on his first day. He was lucky when Eric, Hyde, and Kelso found him. It worked out for them too. Indeed, he was the missing piece of the group. Well, they might regret saving him now. Turns out Fez is one crazy dude. His friends even point that out.
If you’ve ever met or known a petulant toddler with no filter who knows or at least, thinks that they’re just the greatest person ever – then you’ve met Jackie Burkhart from That '70s Show. Played by Mila Kunis for the entire run of the show, the character was easily one of the more popular, but at the same time polarizing characters on the show. That is in no small part thanks to Mila’s likeability as a person in real life.
Turns out that love in the '70s isn't that different from love today. In fact, rumors suggest love started in the '70s. It was in the mid-'70s when Donna and Eric fell in love. They were friends since childhood and soon love blossoms. Of course, no couple is perfect. Indeed, there are always ups and downs. At the same time, there are a few things that don't make sense.
The Girl Next Door. We all know what this means – they’re usually nice, pretty girls who live right next door to the main male lead of a story. The girl next door is generally adorably sweet, kind, and beautiful; but not drop dead gorgeous, either. Somewhere on the border of both of those. In a different spin on the trope, on The Office, it was Pam (the girl in the next cubicle). On That '70s Show, it was Donna Pinciotti. The very first time she met Eric Forman, she punched the poor kid right in the stomach because he looked at her funny. Clearly, he was already smitten. As the pair grew older, they fell knee deep into each other during their formative years. The relationship wasn’t always roses and butterflies, but what relationship is?
