https://youtu.be/LjldaalT9hY In Blood of Zeus, the new Netflix Anime series from Charley and Vlas Parlapanides, Heron, a commoner living in ancient Greece, discovers his true heritage as a son of Zeus. His true purpose? To save the world from a demonic army. That's about as classic a hero's journey as you'll find. I had a chance to talk to the Blood of Zeus co-creators about …
https://youtu.be/cjZOKxKBSzg Listen / download here: We're going Greek -- Ancient Greek, that is -- in this week's nostalgic cartoon review with Ulysses 31. This early 80s animated series aims to retell Homer's epic poem "The Odyssey" set in the far-flung outer space of the 31st century. So a classic mythology version of Maleficent; I dig it. As THR reports, Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver (Planet of the Apes, Jurassic World) are on board to write and executive produce …
After Russell Brand and Jonah Hill exhibited hilarious chemistry in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, it was a no-brainer to do a spin-off centered on Brand’s rock star character, Aldous Snow. The 2010 spin-off, Get Him to the Greek, cast Hill in a different role from the original movie.
