David and Sarah meet at a wedding, but little transpires as both feel they have no future together. The next morning the GPS orders David to pick up Sarah. David and Sarah drive to a forest, their first place in their journey, and spot a red door while taking a walk there. They walk through the door, where they find themselves in a lighthouse in Canada David once visited and romanticized. Next, they drive to a grassy field, where they find another door, this time with graffiti drawn all over it. They enter, and find themselves in a museum from Sarah's memory at a time her mother lived, and tours the paintings there. While they drive to their next destination, Sarah talks about how she went to a road trip with her father once and went to the baseball hall of fame in Cooperstown. They arrive at their third destination, a flower field, and find a blue door. They enter the door, and find themselves in a high school David used to go to, where they meet David's teacher, who ushers David into the assembly to perform the lead for a musical performance. The night is important because it triggers David's trauma of being rejected by a girl with whom he was extremely infatuated. During the performance, Sarah joins in the song, and the audience joins in as well.
