The Last Sunrise

Houston-based, 20-something professional dancer Oriah "Ry" Pera collapses during a performance. Her mother Isolde rushes her to the hospital. Ry suffers from Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC) which has caused her to develop arthritis, and both the doctors and Isolde urge her to consider having an operation to remove the cortical tubers in her brain. Fearful of the surgery, which could cause significant memory loss and other problems, she prefers to simply medicate and is given medication which must be taken several times a day.
