Deadly Illusions

Mary Morrison (Kristen Davis), a successful author of thriller novels, is happily married to her husband Tom (Dermot Mulroney) with two young children. Her publisher asks her to write another book and offers her a two million dollar advance; she initially declines but is later forced to accept after Tom reveals he lost half of their estate by gambling on a risky investment. Mary's friend Elaine suggests she hires a nanny to help with the kids while she writes and, after a number of bad interviews, she employs Grace (Greer Grammer).
