Godzilla x Kong didn't have the greatest second weekend at the box office, but Monkey Man is off to a strong, buzzy start.
Here are a bunch of creepy and sometimes hilarious quotes from horror movies that I'm still saying years after first watching the movies.
Taika Waititi’s Next Goal Wins is next towards an Armie Hammer controversy trend of replacement.
Comic book movie fans who watched Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness may have noticed certain aspects that seemed familiar to events in the X-Men film franchise.
As it turns out, Robert Pattinson took a Harry Potter idea and reused it while working on Twilight.
The film is set in 1964 and is possibly more relevant than ever today.
If you, like me, are using your local restaurants' take-out and delivery options to keep your pandemic-induced quarantine somewhat palatable, I hope you, like me, are tipping the hell out of them. They are keeping us fed and happy during decidedly hungering and unhappy times. And, judging by this new Bob's Burgers mini episode (slider?) produced during the quarantine, they are in need of anything that can help foster a sense of sanity. It's a damn pleasure to hear the whole voice cast -- H. Jon Benjamin, John Roberts, Dan Mintz, Eugene Mirman, Kristen Schaal, and Larry …
A good time was had by all... at least one way this multi-ending story plays out.
Netflix has had some success with romantic comedies with movies like To All the Boys I've Loved Before and Always Be My Maybe, but their latest offering to the genre, Love Wedding Repeat is a total misfire. Devoid of any sentiment other than "Isn't it funny when people are forced into an awkward situation?" the film is a waste of everyone's time, and I say that knowing we're all stuck inside and have time to spare. There are plenty of better ways to kill 100 minutes than watching people fail at farce. It's not that …
Netflix is adding a fun twist to spice up the rom-com genre and it's coming during self-isolation too!

The EE British Academy Film Awards—or BAFTAs—were held this past weekend, and it was nearly a clean sweep for Sam Mendes’ one-shot World War I drama 1917, which won all but two awards it was nominated for. That included Best Film, Best Director, and of course Best Cinematography, but the film's success in other below-the-line categories like Best Production Design, Sound, and Special Visual Effects has many wondering if we just got a preview of what Oscars night might have in store on Sunday, February 9th. Mendes’ technically stunning film was a late-comer …
Will this film go to Primer levels of time travel inscrutability? Time will tell.
The Witcher author Andrzej Sapkowski promises Netflix’s TV show adaptation won't include cameos from pop stars like Ed Sheeran (a la Game of Thrones).
Disney set unprecedented box office records in 2019, but 2020’s slate is unlikely to reach the same numbers.
Stranger Things took criticism for its "The Lost Sister" episode in season 2. The Umbrella Academy will need to avoid the same super-powered mistake.
