Michelle Fuller, CEO of pharmaceutical company Auxolith, is abducted by conspiracy theorist Teddy Gatz and his neurodivergent cousin Don and held captive in the basement of the home the two men share. Teddy is convinced that Michelle is part of an invasive alien species, the "Andromedans," who have infiltrated the human race. Planning to use Michelle as a bargaining tool to demand the aliens leave Earth, Teddy and Don shave Michelle's head to prevent her from communicating with her mothership. Michelle tries to bargain, threaten and then play along to appease Teddy, but Teddy explains she has four days to negotiate a meeting with the Andromedans before an upcoming lunar eclipse, which would allow the Andromedan mothership to enter Earth's atmosphere undetected.
