Patriot Act debuted on Netflix in October 2018, releasing seasons 2 through 5 in 2019 with its sixth and final season airing on the streamer's YouTube in the wake of the global COVID-19 pandemic. Margot Robbie and Birds of Prey writer Christina Hodson have joined forces to launch a female-driven screenwriting program with a specific focus on action films, called the Lucky Exports Pitch Program. The program, already underway, will be run jointly by Robbie, Josey McNamara, and Tom Ackerley of LuckyChap Entertainment and Hodson and Morgan Howell of Hodson Exports. The program has selected six writers to participate in a four week program designed to carry the participants through every stage of developing a studio-ready pitch. A24 has added to its already venerable library of horror films with the acquisition of Saint Maud. The film marks the feature-length film debut of Rose Glass, a director whose previous work in mostly in shorts. Saint Maud stars Morfydd Clark (Love and Friendship, The Man Who Invented Christmas) and Jennifer Ehle (Vox Lux, The Miseducation of Cameron Post). NBCUniversal today announced the title, launch date, and programming lineup for its new streaming service, which will be called Peacock.
