As a fan of the first Super Troopers along with many other Broken Lizard productions,  I came into the movie theater hoping/expecting the sequel to meet the bar left by the original. Unfortunately it did not. Not to say there were no redeeming moments, there definitely were. But for me to really appreciate a sequel it has to be better than the first (which most fail to do). The pressure of meeting the expectation is felt with the few subtle/not-so-subtle cameo throwbacks from the first story...cough, Jim Gaffigan... If I had to quickly describe the movie to someone that has seen the first, I would say there were a few pretty good laughs. However, they leaned on Farva skits a bit too much and **everyone** sounded like an American doing a Canadian accent (unrealistic but sometimes funny). Will Sasso's accent was actually hard to understand. With that said, I literally love when people let Rob Lowe go and do what he does, Tyler Labine and Hayes MacArthur were my winners for most realistic to the universe, Emmanuelle Chriqui is a favorite "sex appeal" actress with decent range, and the opening cameo performances from Sean William Scott and Damon Wayans Jr. were just campy enough to be a perfect BL production opener.Overall it's an enjoyable movie that would probably be best experienced in an altered state as I find most "campy" movies tend to be. ## RanksStory: **5 of 10** (recycled from the First movie)Cinematics: Broken Lizard FeelCharacter: Comedy Skit FeelOverall Feel (Comedy): Dumb Funny## Value:Full PriceMatine**Rental**NetflixFreeJan 22, 2019
