Honeydew

A scientist, Rylie, travels to rural Massachusetts with her actor boyfriend, Sam, to investigate an outbreak of an ergot-type fungus that has been devastating local farms. After attempting to camp on private lands, they are forced to stay at the rundown home of the deeply religious farmer Karen and her obese cartoon-addicted adult son Gunni. Despite the pair's strict vegan diet, they fall under the spell of Karen's cooking, and the visit soon degrades into hallucinations, torture, and madness.
