  Beginner | The Meg was a film I had long been looking forward to, albeit with low expectations. They weren't low enough. After an unnecessarily long introductory phase, The Meg is introduced and slowly begins its wreckage. Instead of going the Jaws or Godzilla route, they decided to go more Piranha 3D and get silly with the deaths (some aren't even shown for some reason). The storyline and character motivations don't align, and it's simply hard to watch at the end. Not a great showing for such a highly marketed flick. | Jan 22, 2019 | ||
